We're Bambos and Anna. We photograph weddings in a way that lets you stay with your partner, your people and the day itself. We step in when you need us and disappear when you don't.
MEET BAMBOS
I’m Bambos, the lead photographer at VOW Cyprus. I work with couples who want more than coverage.
Most couples tell me some version of:
"We're not very good in front of a camera."
Good.
You do not need to be.
I have never believed that great wedding photography comes from spending the day telling people where to stand and what to do.
Most of the time, my job is to pay attention.
To notice the expression before the ceremony begins.
The person watching from across the room.
The hand under the table.
The friend making everyone laugh at exactly the right moment.
And then there are times when you need me.
The light is not working.
Family photographs need organising.
You have no idea what to do with your hands.
Everyone is waiting and somebody needs to take responsibility.
That is when I step in.
I give enough direction to make you feel comfortable, then I get out of the way again.
Because beautiful photographs mean very little if you spend your wedding feeling awkward, overly posed or constantly pulled away from your partner and the people you invited to be there.
Photography is the technical part. People are the real work.
Years of photographing weddings, events and people across Cyprus and Europe have taught me how to work quickly and stay calm when things change.
But the part I value most is something cameras cannot teach.
Reading people.
Some people want energy.
Some need reassurance.
Some want absolutely nothing to do with the camera.
I adjust.
Some couples will meet Anna on the wedding day.
Others may never realise just how much of her work is behind what they receive. Anna works closely with me both on and off set and brings another layer of care to Vow.
When a wedding needs visual planning, she creates mood boards and helps with styling so the different elements work together without making the day feel overly designed.
She is also a makeup artist, although her philosophy is probably the opposite of what people imagine when they hear the word makeup.
As Anna puts it:
"I want to enhance someone's beauty, not hide their imperfections."
The goal is that you still look like yourself.
Not a version of you created for the photographs.
We work with several editors, but Anna handles much of the wedding editing and detailed Photoshop work herself.
And detail really is her thing.
She will notice the small distraction in a photograph that everyone else missed.
The tiny adjustment that makes an image feel finished without making it look retouched.

MEET ANNA
Anna is a painter, which probably explains some of her obsession with colour, shape and detail.
She is also passionate about heavy lifting, which is a wonderfully different kind of precision.
And somewhere between editing photographs, painting and lifting heavy things, she has agreed to marry me.
We are planning our own wedding for 2027.
Which means that, for the first time, we are also experiencing weddings from the other side.
Budgets. Decisions. Guest lists. Timelines. Opinions. All of it.
It has made us even more aware that couples do not need another wedding supplier creating work for them. They need people who make things easier.
What we bring together
Two different strengths. One experience.
Bambos is usually watching the people.
Anna is often watching the details.

The other is asking:
What could make this better?
Together, that affects far more than the final photographs.
It shapes how we prepare.
How comfortable you feel.
